I could see creating a market for squares based on this; if I have this information, I can place a value on my square and sell it at a certain price to someone who thinks it’s more valuable than it is; or buy a square from a sucker who doesn’t realize how valuable it is.
Hi Jon! Thanks for the comment. I get your point – this analysis could be taken one step further, and an “expected value” per square could be figured out based on how much you have to spend to get the square compared to what you would get if you won. Without this info, I’m sure some would be willing to sell a square well below the expected value. I guess that’s the value of data, in many cases.

Thanks Andy! Well, the safety at the beginning of the game pretty much meant the numbers would be atypical. Home-10 vs. Away-9 at halftime (0,9) had never happened all season long. Just goes to show, I guess…
